Playing Outside

Here are the Horman kids playing outside. It was such a beautiful day! This is Braxton's cast. He will have it on for another 2 weeks. Avery wanted to dress up and ride her bike. She is pretty good without her training wheels.

December and January

We had a really nice Christmas. We stayed at home and just relaxed. Jeff, Alison, and Eden came down the day after Christmas and spent a week with us. We had a lot of fun.
In January we had our first broken bone. Braxton was outside riding an electric scooter and fell. He walked in the house and said, "I just broke my wrist." Todd and I took one look and said "Yes, you did!" He broke both bones just above the wrist. He was very brave when he had to have an IV and when they set the bones. He is on the mend now and should be good in a few more weeks.
As you can see a broken bone doesn't stop you from work around here!

November

In November we went to California for a Pape family reunion. Our family went a few days ahead of the rest due to Todd's work. We spent 10 days there and had a blast.

October

We went over to the Baker's house for the annual Halloween bash. Thad was a pirate, Braxton a silly string maniac, Avery a ladybug and I was a glampire. Todd was and still is a grumpy old man (Ha Ha).

Fresh Start

So I really did have good intentions with the whole blog thing. I guess I got a little side tracked by a visit from Ike. Around here you will hear people say, " I don't know what's wrong, ever since the hurricane nothing has been the same." So that is going to be my excuse for the several month delay in starting up this blog. I think I am totally justified in using that excuse and until I no longer see blue tarps on the rooftops I am sticking to it. I will try to fill in the gap with highlights of the past few months.
